A little life, a little love, and a lifetime of figuring it out.
Somewhere along the way, we got the idea that by a certain age, we'd have life figured out. We'd know who we are, what we want, who we're doing it all with, and where we're headed.
And then life happened.
I started writing this in my twenties and thirties, when I was trying to figure out love, friendship, faith, expectations, and what it meant to build a life that felt like my own.
Now, in my mid-40s, I’m revisiting those stories with a little more perspective, a few more life experiences, and plenty I’m still figuring out. Some things make a whole lot more sense now. Others? Not so much.
This is a space for the stories we tell ourselves, the expectations we outgrow, the people who shape us, the faith that carries us, and all the unexpected turns that make life what it is.
Because figuring it all out was never really the point. Maybe it’s about learning to laugh a little more, hold things a little looser, love people a little better, and enjoy the ride along the way.
So take a breath, pull up a chair,
and let's keep figuring it out.
A few things we'll talk about
-
The expectations, the friendships, the heartbreaks, and the moments that shape who we become.
-
Dating, relationships, trust, boundaries, and the very humbling experience of being a human with feelings.
-
Faith, purpose, identity, and learning that a meaningful life doesn't always look the way you thought it would.
-
The funny stories, unexpected lessons, and everyday moments that somehow turn into the things we remember most.
